A:You can expect to receive up to 5 auto shipping quotes.

Q:How long will it take to get my vehicle shipped?
A: Shipping your vehicle will take approxamatley 7-14 days for coast to coast shipping. Shorter routes may be between 1-7 days.  Check with the company that ships your vehicle for an esimated ship time. Keep in mind however shipping times are just estimates as there are many factors that effect the actual time it takes to get your vehicle. Most transport companies will not guarantee shipping times.

Q: What is the difference between open and enclosed auto carrier?
A: An open auto carrier is the most commonly used and least expensive means of transporting your auto. It’s the same type of trailer that most car dealers use. It will hold 3-10 autos. The vehicles are not covered by walls or a roof. With an enclosed auto transport trailer the auto is driven inside a van style trailer. The transport trailer has a roof and walls protecting the vehicle from the weather and road conditions. An Enclosed auto trailer is considerable more expensive as the auto transport company is limited on how many vehicles they can take.

Q: Do I need to be present when the auto carrier picks up or delivers my vehicle?
A: Each company will have their own policy regarding this. Talk with the company you select to transport your auto for further assistance.

Q:How should I prepare my auto for shipping?
A: Remove all personal items from inside the vehicle, when the auto transport carrier arrives make sure you and the trucker inspect the vehicle prior to shipping. You should get a copy of the inspection report.

Q: What is door-to-door auto transport
A: With door-to-door auto transport, you don't have to go to a terminal to ship your car . They will deliver it to your location.

Q: Can I place personnal items in the vehicle that I want to ship?
A: Each transport companies policy will be different. Some do not mind a few items, some may charge by weight, some may not allow anything as they do not want to be held responsible for missing items. Tell the auto shipping broker or auto transport company upfront that this is needed.
